    Extending your Strategic Partners

    By Dager | October 29, 2008

To gain the true benefits of partnership, both of you must benefit. Here are a few tips that Shirley Sagaw, and Deborah Jospin mentioned inĀ The Charismatic Organization:

    1. Self assess: Identify what act as the organization could bring to a partnership, and what needs to be met through such a relationship.
    2. Identify prospective partners: Look for potential partners that might benefit from the assets offered and to meet the identified in need.
    3. Connect: Work together to determine what the alliance will involve and what results it will produce.
    4. Test: Start small by planning, carried out, and evaluating the transaction to learn whether the partners can work together effectively for mutual gain.
    5. Grow: Extend the relationship by resolving differences and planning additional activities.

To busy, cannot do it now? Put it on your calendar for January and set appointments now to do it. In this season of giving, make sure becomes a 2-Way Street. Remember, always try to give more than receive.
